Exactly where you are
Highway number and nearest mile marker, or the county road and the last cross street, or a landmark that is not going anywhere — a bridge, a church, a store, a gate number. If your phone can share a pin, have it ready. This is the answer that most affects how quickly a truck reaches you.
Year, make and model — and drivetrain
A front-wheel-drive sedan, an all-wheel-drive SUV, a dually pickup and an electric car are four different loading problems. Say which you have. If you know it is AWD or EV, lead with that: those generally have to go all-wheels-up on the deck.
Whether it rolls, steers and comes out of gear
A vehicle that rolls freely loads in minutes. One with a seized wheel, a locked steering column, no key, or that will not shift out of park needs different equipment. Tell us on the phone and it arrives with the truck.
Where it is going
The shop, the dealer, your address, or storage. If you do not know yet, say so — but knowing means we can quote the whole job rather than half of it.
How you are situated
Are you blocking a lane? In a ditch? On soft ground? Down an embankment? In a parking garage with a low ceiling? Any one of those changes which truck we send and how the job gets rigged, and it is much better heard now than discovered on arrival.
