My car will not start — is it the battery?
A jump answers that in about a minute. If it fires up and keeps running once we disconnect, you are on your way. If it dies again immediately, the battery or the alternator is finished and we will get you to a shop.
Is jump starting safe on a newer vehicle?
It is when it is done right. Correct polarity, the correct connection points and proper equipment are exactly what protects the electronics in a modern vehicle, and that is how we do it.
